No she could just be taking it to regulate her periods. Lots of women take birth control for that reason.

She could be taking it as birth control or she could be taking it to regulate her periods, to have lighter periods, to clear up her acne or to relieve menstrual cramps. There’s lots of reasons to take birth control pills.
It is birth control. No, it doesn’t mean she is having sex. She could be trying to control her periods, my sister had birth control when she was 14 and was no sexually active.
