Switching my Yaz prescription to another birth control?
I hаνе bееn having issues wіth Yaz lately. I hаνе TERRIBLE mood swings, mу cramps hаνе worsened, аnd I keep hearing аll thеѕе negative statements аbουt Yaz. I completely ѕtοрреd taking thе medication аbουt a week ago аnd јυѕt scheduled аn appointment tο gеt another birth control.
Whаt аrе ѕοmе safe аnd reliable birth control pills? I’d lіkе tο dο ѕοmе research before I gο tο mу appointment.

Yaz is soooooo bad. Good to get off. The best that I have experience with are Tri-Cyclen Lo and Alesse. I never noticed any mood swings or other PMS symptoms.
I’ve been on Alesse for over 2 years now and I LOVE IT! It makes my cramps so much less intence, periods shorter. I have never had any problems with it.. good luck!!
I am on Ortho cept and I have had no problems I sometimes get mood swings, and I find that I dont want sex as much Idk could be a few reasons for that. I have been on it for 8 or 9 months ,and i like it I never get cramps I do not break out, periods are 2 or 3 days long and light Iove it just talk to your doctor and see what they say do research and go in there with a few you would like to try. Yaz is horrible and I have heard horror stories, the depo shot I have heard bad stories of people gaining alot of weight so really just do research and find different kinds. just remember all forms of birth control affect every person differently, what works for someone else might not work for you. good luck.
