I take Yaz also. I have also previously taken ortho-tricycelene and Yasmin. Yaz so far is the best. To skip your period you will want to skip taking the white sugar pills and begin taking the pink/peachish colored pills immediately after you are finished with the previous pack. The way birth control work is it trick your body into thinking it is pregnant by giving it a low dose hormone. The white pills stop the hormone distribution and allow you to shed the utrine lining. By consecutively taking that colored or "active pills" without lapse you will be able to be period free. Also there is a birth control specially designed for this called seasonal although some insurance plans do not cover it. FYI contrary to previous answer this will not adversely affect you or your reproductive ability. If you don’t beleive me consult your ob/gyn.
Go to a docter.
No one here will answer you the way a docter will, and no one here can prescribe you any of the good stuff.
Just don’t take the ’sugar’ or white pills. You might leak a little bit, though around mid-week.
just go straight onto your next pack and skip the "dummy" pills….you will miss your period then…..possibly spot in the next month though
you definitely should not try to skip a period. if you do skip the pills when you are supposed to get your period, you might cause some problems. also, if you just don’t take the pills on those days, you might get your period anyway. so in conclusion, don’t intentionally mess with your body.
Ginny is absolutly correct
I take Zovia, but it is the same concept on how to take the pills. I have skipped four-six periods in a row before and have consulted my doc and it is perfectly fine to skip periods. It will not harm your body, afterall humans gestate for 9 months.
