Yes it can be an allergic reaction! I was on Yasmin last winter and after about a month, I noticed a small red spot on my left breast. It got larger and larger and began to itch. I went to my obgyn and she sent me to a breast surgeon because she thought I might have inflammatory breast cancer! That dr told me it was a dermatological condition and so I went to a dermatologist who told me it was an allergic reaction to something, but he couldn’t figure out what. He did not listen to me and told me it could absolutely not be my birth control causing it. After 2 months, I had a rash and giant hives from head to toe. I finally got a second opinion and she diagnosed it as a "medicinal eruption" as soon as she looked at me, but took biopsies to be sure. The hives went away about 2 weeks after stopping the pill. See a dermatologist and don’t let it get out of control like I did! It was a nightmare!
It could be, but it also could be numerous other things. Have you used a different type of laundry detergent or something? That could irritate your skin like that. I would google it and look it up on the Yaz website.
