Any ladies out there using Yaz birth control ?
Hi ladies, i’m considering switching tο Yaz bυt don’t know much аbουt іt? I’ve tried reading up οn іt bυt couldn’t really find аnу ladies’ opinions οn іt (οnlу found scientific facts etc)?
If уου аrе currently οn Yaz / knows someone whο іѕ / υѕе tο bе οn іt, please give mе уουr opinions?

Hi. I’ve been on it for about 10 months and I love it. I switched from Ortho-tri-cyclen Lo because it made me so sick. The Yaz also helps a lot because I suffer from PMDD and it just helps with the depression. It won’t treat just general PMS though. It’s nice because my periods are much lighter and shorter now than they used to be. My only concern though is all the warnings out now about heart disease and blood problems from it. Just talk to your doctor and see if it sounds right for you. Good luck!

i was on it for over a year and i absolutely hated it. it was fine for the first 2-3 months but then i started having breakthrough bleeding (which didn’t stop until i switched to a new pill) and it caused me to have a sharp pain in my left arm ..it also has a recall on it for causing blood clots, strokes, and heart attacks more than any other birth control pill. they actually have insurance commercials about it. i would suggest taking seasonique, but definitely not Yaz, Yasmin, or the generic brand Ocella

i have been on every kind of pill there is and yaz has got to be the one that worked best for my system i really do feel like it took care of extreme pms and everything that they claim is true, now the reason why i decided to try to find a different one is because when it does come to that time of the month i only got spot bleeding for mabey a couple of days ( i know it sounds great in theory) but i did not like not having a period at all in fact i had so little of a period that i was only going through 1 regular tampon the entire time i was bleeding and for me i felt like i actually wanted to have more of a period then that, so there are a lot of up sides but the down fall for me would have to be the above now every women is different and that may not happen to you, i also took yasmine and it had very similar effects and with that i didn’t even need to use a tampon at all so it depends on what you are looking for it to do for you, there are a number of different reasons why women choose yaz i wish i knew more of the reason why you were looking at it….i also tried the nuva ring and it made me gain ungodly amounts of weight so don’t consider going that route…. I have never heard anything bad about yaz from women i know who are on it
