After how many days of taking the birth control pill YAZ does it become effective?
I wουld never hаνе unprotected sex еνеr, bυt suppose something goes wrοng during sex i.e. a condom brеаkѕ. I hаνе bееn οn birth control fοr ten days, аnd I know thаt YAZ tricks thе body іntο believing іt іѕ pregnant ѕο thаt ovulation doesn’t take рlасе, bυt whеn wіll I bе safe?
Your body is "tricked" after a week. As long as you’re using a backup method like condoms as well, I think you can consider yourself safe a week after beginnig the pill. If you were relying on the pill alone, I’d wait a month.

If you read the instruction booklet it will tel you its safe to have sex without a second form of birth control after a week, but my gyno told me to wait a month, just in case… I would keep using condoms at least until you finish the first pack.
A month! I am on YAZ as well and it takes a good month for it to be effective but like any other pill 3 months for your body to get used to it! I hav had my period all month a little spotting here and there and my period for two weeks..my nurse practioner said that it takes 3 months for your body to get used to the changing and the added hormones…so yeah…one month to be effective and 3 months to stop the breast tenderness, spotting, long periods, fatigue, and cramping! GOD I CAN’T WAIT FOR MY THIRD MONTH TO BE OVER WITH!
