Will Tetracycline stain my teeth at all?
I gοt prescribed Tetracycline fοr mу acne. Thе dermatologist ѕаіd thаt іt won’t stain mу teeth ѕіnсе thеу аrе developed, bυt I’m worried іt’ll stain thе inside οf mу teeth аnd mу wisdom teeth.

This was on "extreme makeover" last night. It said that it causes graying. They put some foamy stuff on and then hit it with an ultra-violet light
If they say they wont stain then they wont stain i suppose
I’ve taken it as an antibiotic & I’ve never heard of that. Have you done any research about it?

It can stain your teeth as my sister had grey teeth because of it. If you only take it once It will not do anything, but prolonged use might stain your teeth. My sister was given it as a child, not an adult.
Penicillin Tetracycline can weaken your hearing ability, but I am not sure if it can stain your teeth. I was given it by doctor to heal my tonsillitis problem in my childhood and now for the last 20 years I am suffering from hearing loss attributed to it. So, please check and double-check (have second professional opinion) before going with such powerful medicines.
