Question about food and Tetracycline?
I аm taking Tetracycline, аnd drink a bіg glass οf water аftеr іt, аѕ tοld tο. It аlѕο ѕауѕ tο nοt eat Calcium οr Dairy. Am I ok tο eat Doritos though? Im nοt sure hοw much cheese іѕ actually іn thе chips. Please аnѕwеr οnlу іf уου know whаt уουr talking аbουt. Thanks
yes you can eat the chips.
it’s likely that it’s only cheese flavoring anyway and doesn’t actually contain any calcium … check the nutritional panel to be sure.
it says not to eat calcium or dairy because the effective assimilation of the meds may be inhibited by those foods.
check with your physician or pharmacist if you’re still unsure.

2 hours before & after taking it avoid all dairy products(i guess that includes the chips if the ingredients actually include cheese, cause sometimes they just flavor it rather than putting any real cheese in it anyway), but after that..you’re cool to eat those doritos. 2 hrs wait is not too bad.
