I have a drug test at 8 am and I have taken 1 500mg of Tetracycline could that cause a false positive?

i think the question here was not, "hey are they going to know I’ve been doing drugs if i try to cheat the test by taking antibiotics?". it was more like "will taking antibiotics show up on a drug test or react with something in a way that will cause a false positive?" and the answer is that tetracycline is not one of the chemicals in the urine that they screen for. they look for drugs of abuse. so no, it won’t cause a false positive

Drug user why don’t you get real in life and stop doing drugs. Get high of God. He’s your protector and Savior. You think you’re so clever by taking Tetracycline to avoid a positive reading. Did you know that drug test can be by blood and it can show up compare to urine testing? I hope you fail your test so this can be a wake up call for you to seek soberity. Drugs are a sin. Ask God for forgiveness. I will ask God to forgive you. God forgive this person who does drugs and help him fight his addiction. Amen

I don’t know why you are taking so much antibiotics for, that is a large dose,but antibiotic can efect the results of some tests,depends on what kind of test you were taking..For one is that taking antibiotics with birth controll with denote the birth controll as if you never taken it..I hope I answered your question?,,,
Just let them know you take the medicine. Maybe take the prescription with you.
As for dans_1962 comment, there are several reasons a person has drug testing, maybe he is in training or has to do it for work, it doesn’t necessarily mean they are a drug user.
Check things out before assuming the worst.
