Has Tetracycline or Clindamycin helped treat your acne?
I јυѕt wеnt tο thе dermatologist fοr thе first time last week аnd hе prescribed mе Tetracycline аnd Clindamycin. I’m praying thаt thеу′ll work! Hаѕ anyone hаd аnу success οr failures wіth thеѕе medications?
I am a nurse and have seen good results with these medications. Remember antibiotics decrease the effectiveness of birth control.
Clindamycin… is that the medicine in the white tube with a sponge applicator? It works awsome!! Good luck!
I gave up on antibiotics for my acne, which I found out was really foliculitis barbae. I use Retin A 10% and it keeps these erruptions down and gone, but they do occasionally come back, mostly during hot summer months when one sweats a lot. You could have a chemical imbalance whereas your pores secrete too much oil.
However, Retin "A" is very dangerous as it eats the top layer of skin off and if you go in the sun, it can cause cancer as your top protective area of skin is now gone.
yea tetrecycline works pretty good i have it.. but if you have sensitive skin it could burn, it hurts like hell the first time. but stick with it also if its not burning or not having affect see if you have the stronger kind there are two types and one is more powerful then the other.. good luck
