can tetracycline make your skin darker if u expose to sun ? i have a brown skin (south asian)?
i аm taking 250mg tetracycline tonight аnd іf i expose tο sun wіll іt mаkе mу brown skin more darker ? (250mg per day іѕ a small dose i thіnk)

Yes. It’s temporary, but the damage done by the sun, during that darkening, is much worse than that caused by a normal tan. The tetracycline makes you susceptible. Cover up for a couple of weeks.

Hi, I used to take tetracycline (can’t remember the dosage) and in my case it made my skin darker, I am south asian as well (brown skin – wheatish complexion). I usually get slight tan when I am out in the sun but with tetracycline I developed darker patches on my face, so I stopped using it. Hope this helps!
