I asked a question asking about what people thought about the generic form of yasmin, ocella and whether they liked it or not. I also asked if it was okay that i was being switched from yaz to a genric form of a different birth control, yasmin…and my question got deleted. Why is that? Does anyone know? Thanks.

I was on accutane about 2 years ago now, and starting in December my acne started to flare up again. I have now decided to try birth control to clear up my skin (Yasmin), and I was wondering if anyone else can share any experiences, did it work for you?

Yaz not yasmin. Is the weight just water weight? does it go away after three packets of the trail period?

My doctor switched me from Kariva to Yaz because of acne problems. I start it Sunday.
I looked up info on it and horrible(and scary) information came up about Yasmin but nothing on Yaz.
I’m afraid to switch now but I want to control the acne.
My wedding is coming up and I don’t want my period screwed up or any weight gain.
I ‘m probably just being paranoid but I would like some advice.

I’ve always heard people say how much they love Yasmin and until recently I thought it was just a cheaper or generic brand of YAZ. I’m going to see my gynecologist to get put of birth control tomorrow which would you recommend and what are the differences between them?
I’m not interested in any other form of birth control. I’m just trying to figure out what pill is best.

I am switching from Yasmin to Yaz to hopefully help with my acne. What has your experience been with Yaz? How long until you noticed an improvement of your skin?

I havre recently switched from yasmin to yaz. The doctor changed me because he believed it was better for my moods. When I started yasmin, I lost weight (fluid retention) but I feel like I have gained it back again on Yaz and my moods haven’t changed. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced side effects?

I always thought Yaz was short for Yasmin. I went on the site today to look for Yasmin and they were both there…made by the same people and have the same ingredients. Yaz has a different logo and such and thats all I know so far.

what is the difference box colors ?
yaz is green box and yasmin is purple box?

I have been on Ocella for almost a year and I am switching to Yaz for it’s *fingers crossed* acne benefits. What I want to know is do you think I will have a problem switching from one to the other since they are almost the same hormone levels. Or do you think it will be the same as when you switch with other pills (all of the awful symptoms).
Also, anyone who has switched from Yasmin or Ocella to Yaz how do you like it in comparison?
