I have a light to moderate case of acne. Usually it’s not much of a problem, but over the years, scars from it have acumulated pretty badly, to the point that red patches would appear under my nose and on my chin, forehad, and nose.
Is there an over the counter treatment that anyone would suggest I use to lessen the appearance of these scar patches? Thanks.
I have had terrible acne and I hadn’t realized it then but all of my pimple and zit picking has resulted in many scars, so I was wondering what product is most effective in a short amount of time. Thanks soooo much in advance. Please help!
I am considering seeing a derm because i have dark purplish scars on my face from acne. If you feel the surface of my skin and face it’s very smooth! Underneath is where my scaring is. I hate it. Until I was 21 I had perfect skin everyone was super envious of. It’s been 6 years of dealing with it and my birth controls (various kinds even those made for people with acne) seem to not do anything! So, does insurance cover accutane? (PPO). and if not, what are some other options that can take it away? I’m getting married in March of 2007 and want flawless skin! But I don’t know if I can afford accutane w/out insurance. How much does it cost? Okay, enough of my 20 questions!

I have severe acne i guess, my acne has improved alot form BenzaClin, but i have to put alot of moisteriser on because it dires out my skin so bad. I still break out in clumps and big soar pimples/spots. My skin looks gross because it is faded from the BenzaClin and red from my acne and it is all scared. Does anyone know how to get rid of redness and remove scars while still getting rid of my acne?
My mom does not let me use cover up because it makes my face look worst and it breaks me out instantly. I have stuff to help with my acne so i don’t have anymore acne but the scars are still there. I might have to end up taking accutane and I have mild acne. I have blackheads on my forehead mostly and red pimples and a noticeable acne scar. If I were to take accutane will the scar lessen its appearance and not be that noticable? I have friends that take it and their scars were not noticeable and I seen them before they were taking accutane. SO will it help with my scar and acne and blackheads, accutane?
