I just popped a huge zit behind my ear, is it going to scar? And it wasn’t no little pop, it was like blood and white stuff flying into the palm of my hand as I popped it with my fingertips.

I have a light to moderate case of acne. Usually it’s not much of a problem, but over the years, scars from it have acumulated pretty badly, to the point that red patches would appear under my nose and on my chin, forehad, and nose.

Is there an over the counter treatment that anyone would suggest I use to lessen the appearance of these scar patches? Thanks.

So I got this little zit on the bottom of my lip and it was small, then I put some benzoyl peroxide on that baby and it increased in size for a day and turned into a pustule. I’ve been applying the benzoyl peroxide cream for a day or two and its like all dried out. It’s not white anymore, it’s like brownish almost like a scab. Im really tempted to peel it but I don’t want it to scar. Should I give it some more time?

I was just wondering, if I get started on Accutane, how fast my skin will clear up, I have really oily skin and it’s very sensitive.

I don’t get occasional flareups my face is all around a scar/pimple/zit making machine.

But I go back to school at the end of August do you think it’ll clear up a little by then?

well school starts in 5 days! and i have this pimple on my nose that’s been there for almost 2 weeks now! and its not getting smaller. i try to wash my face every morning and every night. i really don’t get bad ache. im afraid to pop it because it might leave a scar. help?

So I picked at a zit on my forehead and it left a small patch of raw skin. Is there a cream or something I can put on it to make it heal faster and not scar?

neutrogena isn’t doing anything.
proactiv has benzoyl peroxide.
I tried clean & clear it did nothing.
I tried tea tree oil- Nothing
I am currently using St.Ives, it’s not doing anything

I had this hudge pimple on my cheek but instead of poping it I just washed my face all day with my face wash now I have this dark dry scar instead. Why did this happen?

I put a tiny dab of PanOxyl acnegel on a spot on my cheek a week ago. I didn’t realise how dangerous benzoyl peroxide is - I now have a large raised dark red burn mark on my face the size of a 50p that looks like it will be a permanent scar. Anything I put on it makes it hurt - even water. Has anyone had this happen to them? Is there anything I can do?
