Before I had smooth skin but it had acne. After using Benzoyl Peroxide for four days my skin started to dry, redden, and peel. Will my skin go back to normal and recover if I stop applying the medicine?
And I have this "tanned" look on the applied area (On my nose and above my cheeks, it’s right next to my nose)

What about a "pimple" down there changing color to being touched(when you see it its white, then when you touch it, it becomes more flesh(skin) looking….is that a actual pimple?…it doenst hurt when i touch it but if i sqeeze it it hurts a lil..it bled very litle but no puss or fluid..im actually goin to the doc tomororw but just for more info for myself…..

I have been using "On-the-SpotĀ® Acne Treatment" by Neutrogena for a couple months and finally feel that I have my acne under control. This spot treatment has 2.5% Benzoyl Peroxide. I found the 10% solution WAY too drying and while using it read that it can cause long term damage to one’s skin. Is there anything I should be worried about if I use a 2.5% solution twice a day?

would a 100mg doxycycline, that i took 2 times a day for about a week, have enough of an effect to cancel birth control?
haha, ya well thats the thing, i didn’t supplement, and now, i’m hoping nothing "happened", if you know what i mean.

I just started yaz last month and Ive been taking the pills everyday at the same time. My pack is almost done except for 2 of the "nonactive pills" are left. So I will be starting a new pack Sunday. I usually get my period on the 10th before I started this pill. Will my cycle continue to be on the 10th or will it change?

They say things like " if you or a loved one have taken YAZ and had any of the following side effects please call our office. You could be entitled to…." does this mean there are a lot of cases with YAZ causing major issues? I get worried everytime I see one. Anyone else?

I’m trying to identify my breakout "triggers," but that is impossible without knowing a pimple’s "incubation" period… lol. And everyone always says something different!
In reply to "jamieann," i am extremely hygienic. i don’t wear makeup… just sunscreen when i need it. i clean my face gently but thoroughly twice a day, and i use oil-blotting sheets during the day if necessary. i also exfoliate as needed. i am very conscientious about never touching my face (so as not to deposit oil or dirt on it).
and Clover… i think you misunderstood the question. what i am trying to determine is how long it takes a zit to develop. that should be a universal thing — my point was that nobody seems to know the answer for sure, since i always read different things about it (as in, it appears that science may not yet know the answer).

Your pregnant neighbor has a sore throat and tells you that she is taking some "leftover" tetracycline from a previous infection. Give her two reasons why this is a poor decision. Another woman has been prescribed a broad-spectrum oral cephalosporin for a sore throat. What are some consequences in addition to the cure of the infected throat? Finally, a man has a severe case of gastroenteritis that is negative for bacterial pathogens. A physician prescribes an oral antibiotic. What are your opinions of this therapy?

I come home yesterday from visiting my Family, and My kitty cat "Frigger" didn’t look so good he kept rubbing his right eye. i went up to him and it was really red and watery. So i Have this stuff erythromycin ophthalmic ointment, in used when my infant daughter had a blocked tearduck. Can that hurt him ? and if so what can I put on it to make it better

this is 3 questions in 1, but all of the questions are linked to each other so please bear with me…
i had this massive pimple below my lip and it hadn’t "sprouted" yet, but i tried to pop it anyway. i was unsuccessful in popping it since it wasnt "out" yet. i kept on trying for several days until i finally got it. now i have a red spot with a scab over it and my skin around that area is very irritated from so much poking at my pimple. because i poked around that area so much ANOTHER pimple is coming out right next to that massive one so that area is getting more irritated because it’s itchy and i can’t stop scratching. how do i cure the irritation, prevent my former pimple from leaving a scar and prevent the new pimple from coming out?
