I’m on my first pack of Yaz birth control… I haven’t really had any negative side effects all month. I took the first inactive pill yesterday and today I feel awful. I’ve been extremely emotional, crying all day for no reason and now I feel dizzy and sick. Is this normal? Will this even out when I go back on the active pills? Help!

I am almost done with my first pack of yaz. tomorrow i take my first sugar pill. am i going to get my period tomorrow or the next day???
and also, i am going on a road trip friday (my luck huh?) so is it okay if i start my pack before i finish all my placebo pills?

Well I have really fucking bad acne, and I just got prescribed a bottle of these doxycycline pills that are like 100 mg and I have to take 2 a day? Anyone know how long before it starts to affect?

Ive been taking a contraceptive pill yaz, but ive recently taken antibiotics so im waiting 7 days for the active pills to be effective. I just want to make sure that taking the morning after pill will be suitable and nothing should go wrong?

Please help! i would take it immediately im just paranoid that my regular contraceptive could intervene with the effectiveness of the Morning after pill.

Im only 9 pills into my first pack of Yaz, I was supposed to get my period yesterday. My husband and I have been having unprotected sex a few times throughout the month. Is this normal to miss a period or be late for a period this soon after starting Yaz?

I want to know how to skip a period on yaz. How do you do it? do you not take the pills i so confused? I been taking yaz for a year.

I was prescribed to Yaz to help with my moderate acne. I hear that many teenage girls and women have great results, mostly by the 3rd month, but so far I have had none. My acne has stayed the same as it was before I started taking it if not worse. Has anyone else had this problem?
I only have 5 pills left and am on my 2nd pack. And for everyone who says their acne cleared up within a week of taking it, screw you. My acne has gotten worse and has spread to different areas of my face and body.

I have been on birth control for over 7 years consistently, and have been on Yaz for 8 months. I was diagnosed with a UTI and put on antibiotics, specifically sulfamethoxazole, for a week. I had my monthly during that week, and started a new pack the 2nd to last day of my antibiotics. So I had taken the first 2 BC pills of my new pack and my last 2 days of antibiotics on the same days. I was sexually active on the 3rd day of my pack, but used backup for that day and the next two days. My question is if whether or not I have to continue a backup to use with Yaz and for how long. Even if I had barely started my new pack as I was ending my antibiotics. Am I protected as fully against pregnancy with just my pill, or has my antibiotic in those first two days of my pack effected the entire month of my protection and so I need to use back up for a month? Thanks!

i’m on my third set of Yaz pills and i’m not on my period. I missed my pill last friday and was late taking it on saturday. i took mine at my usual time today, am i cramping and feeling bad cuz i messed up my schedule? how long until it balances out again?

I’ve been on it for a few months, but I’m confused as to when I am protected from unwanted pregnancy. I know when you’re just starting out, you’re supposed to wait a week or whatever; this is not my question. I want to know if since I’ve been on it for months if I’m basically always protected. How long do I need to take active pills after the inactive pills for it to function as contraception again? Again, I’m not asking how long it takes to work when you’re just starting Yaz. Thank you!
