So on acne.org, it states that you shouldn’t wash off the benzoyl peroxide cream after it dries….

so am i suppose to just leave it on for the entire day and apply moisturizer on top of the benzoyl peroxide, or do I wash it off first and then apply?

I use Proactive right now, which has benzoyl peroxide. Can I use a moisturizer with salicylic acid in it? Or is it bad for my skin to mix the two?

I was wondering if I could still wear makeup as in "foundation" because my dermatologist proscribed me Accutane.
Will wearing makeup make it worse?
And for anybody who has taken Accutane does it work well but dry your skin out?
Also, whats a good moisturizer while taking Accutane? I need a good one that will do it’s job, I heard you skin gets really dry.

I’m suppose to apply the antibiotic gel morning and night, should i use cetaphil moisturizer after applying the gel? cause my skin gets really dry after using the antibiotic

i might try one of these and can you recomend a good moisturizer to use while on it?

Also important, what kind and when? Can I apply moisturizer right after applying erythromycin? or do I have to wait?

For those of you who have been on accutane, I would just like to know what exactly the side effects were like for you? I know that it can really dry out your skin and lips. When you were on it, did your skin and lips peel? If so, how bad? Did it get to a point where you looked gross? If so, how long did that last? Where you that dry the whole time you were on the medicine, or did it go away after awhile? Can I keep myself looking pretty normal if I use good chapstick and moisturizer? I have been taking it for one week now and all I have so far is lips that are a little dry. Thanks in advance for any help you may have to offer.

I have been using both products for two days and the area around my mouth feels like it is on fire and it is very dry. I don’t want to stop using the products, but I want to use a moisturizer, however I am not sure which one I could use and when to use it (i.e. 30 mins after applying erythromycin gel). Please help, my acne is bad and I don’t want to have to stop using it-i’ve paid a lot of money for these products.

I have been on accutane for 10 days and my face has gotten all red and dry. Also, I am breaking out much more than normal and my lips are extremely chapped, I hate this! So, when does it finally start to turn around? Anytime soon? What can I use to make this period less painful? Today I bought some Eucerin Redness Relief Moisturizer and Cleanser, maybe that will help? Thanks in advance.

I have a good deal of acne and blackheads, and would like to buy some benzoyl peroxide and a moisturizer to go along with it (I heard it dries out your skin).
What products do you suggest I purchase that work well? I would prefer it to come from a pretty common store.
