I had to go to the field and forgot my meds, i am worried that my chlaymdia bacteria will build resistant to my medicine? am I good or will i need stronger.

I have been on accutane for 1 1/2 months. Results are looking GREAT SO FAR. I have had some back aches and chapped lips as well as joint aches. Does this stop after treatment. ANd has anyone had results that lasted. Im 26 and my acne just started last year. Tried several meds, but this seems to be the only thing that is working.

ive had acne since i was about 12 or 13, and its gotten more severe as ive gotten older (im 18 now)

ive been on so many different meds, ive tried OTC stuff, ive tried proactive…NOTHING works.

some mornings, i dont even want to get out of bed. it just makes me feel so awful about myself.

any suggestions? my doctor has started to suggest acutane, but i really dont want to have to do that if i dont have to b/c of all the awful side effects and the bloodwork.

i dont understand why it just wont go away.

For the past 4 months i have had really bad acne.
And i have tried all kinds of over the counter meds but nothing really worked.
What might happen if i stop using acne products for a while,
Will is breakout even more and worse?

I’ve been taking Doxycycline for a while, lots of people in my school have been getting sick, for the last month or two, just a couple of days ago I ran out of my doxycycline medicine, and for those couple of days I was starting to feel sick like everyone else. Also last year I went to China & Japan, I was on the medicine there, and I can down with something horrible, I was thinking was the meds killing some bad infection? Just wondering.
I’ve been taking Doxycycline for a couple of years for my acne treatment.

birth control and tetracycline pills, can they mix? Can i take them at the same time? if not, how can i take them both with out having clashing?
HELP. both meds are needed.

So I’m 14 and today my dermatologist gave me Tetracycline and recommended i use it for about a month and see what happens. But after, I looked on here, and saw that many people complained about harsh side effects, like discoloration of teeth and major nausea. My doctor didn’t mention this though. He just said to not drink or eat any dairy products within 2 hours after taking the meds.

So what I wanted to ask, is all this stuff true? Should I still start taking Tetracycline? And what side effects have you experienced (if any)?

Oh and also, I’ve tried Proactive and Clearasil, and those somewhat worked, but I wanted a more effective medication. And my acne isn’t even that bad, its quite mild. But I thought I should just clear it up now, cause it gets pretty bad sometimes.

Does it have a calming effect at all? And can you really tell a difference? And if so when can you tell? I get crazy and i need something to help, whether it be anxiety meds or yaz, somethings gotta give…

a few weeks ago i started feeling a very slight itch in my urethra and a very small about of clear discharge.i saw my dr and she said it may be gonorrhea or chlymidia and started me on a 10 day scripts of doxycycline.after a few day’s the symptoms disappeared and have about 2 day’s of the meds left.the problem is i have just started talking to a girl and of course havent done anything but was wondering about how long i should wait.should i be fine by the time i complete the meds?

I have bad acne and a dermatologist has recommended Accutane. Accutane has been known to cause birth defects if you get pregnant while taking this medication, but are there lingering effects that may affect a fetus even if I stop taking the meds before I conceive?
