I am allergic to penicillin,and sulfa drugs ,and want to know if this medicine could make me sick.Is it in any way or form related to penicillin or sulfa drugs?

I am really scared. I have a pimple inside of my nose, next to the opening. It looks like two pimples right next to each other. I’ve never seen a boil but it looks kind of like a boil. It hurts, it burns. Pimple medicine hasn’t gotten rid of it. I was using nose spray for two weeks and could that have given me a pimple, or a staph infection. I tried to pop it but it didn’t work. So I pricked it with a sterile needle and it has been draining blood and pus but it is still there. I don’t know what to do : / It’s been there for 3 days.

I am about to start taking tetracycline for my acne. I know tetracycline is an antibiotic, and I know that antibiotics kill all the bacteria in one’s body, and I know plain yogurt helps to build up the good bacteria in the body, but…. I am supposed to avoid dairy products when taking this medication, because it will make the medicine ineffective, so what should I do about this situation? Can I still have natural plain yogurt? Or is there anything else that can help build up good bacteria?

I have 2 more months on accutane.. but i am going to the beach this week for vacation so i stopped the medicine so i wont burn on the beach while i am there… since i have only been off it 3 days is it safe to lay out… or even get my eyebrows waxed?
oh, and do you guys know any good chapstick.. my top lip wont stop peeling and it has been very gross lately!

I just found my prescription pills of Doxycycline Hyclate today 2/16/10. It is a medicine that cleans bacteria. I first got it 09/16/09 but lost it the same day. And I just found it today and on the bottle it says use before 01/22/10 which just passed. But it dosent say a expire date just says use before. I want to know would do you think it would still work if I take it? Thank you

OK so I just started using this new acne medicine last night. It’s not proactive but it’s just like it. I’ve read that your acne will get worse before it gets better. Is this true? And if so, why? Is it because it brings the bacteria to the surface?
Oh, and if it does get worse before it gets better, should I pop the pimples or should I let the medicine do it’s trick?

I experience bad acne for few years,after i take this medicine all of my acne disappear for ever.I wonder if there are any other medicine as good as accutane in the world.
I understand there are other medicine for different diseases,I never come cross acne medicine as good as accutane.

I recently got a staff infection and the doctor presribed me two antibiotics for it, i have to take both twice daily for 7 days tomorrow i run out of medicine but there are a few spots that are still swollen but most are just scars… will i be fine or should i go back to the doctors to prevent it from growing again?

Ive had this pimple( i think, im not sure) on my lip for atleast the past 4 months. I dont know how to get rid of it ive tried every pimple medicine and I cant seem to get rid of it. Any advice?

I hear it takes a month for this medicine to work, but I am not sure. If you have taken this medicine, what has been your overall success rate?
