has anyone who used this antibiotic experienced bloating as a side effect? if so, does it stop after a few days, or does it last for the whole treatment?
I just got prescribed Doxycycline Hyclate a few days ago for my acne. I was wondering how well it works cuz I feel like I’ve tried everything. How long did it take to see a difference? Does it make your skin worse before it stats getting better? How did it work for you?
I use to have REALLY bad acne so my doctor said i could start accutane in a month, and that was last month. While I was waiting, i noticed my acne got quite better. When I start it in the next few days, will it take less than the usual 6 months to make my acne better or the same amount of time?
I have suffered from acne since I was 12 and it’s gotten a lot better, but I still get some bad pimples frequently. My face will be clear for a few days then I will get a big cystic pimple on my cheek or chin area. They are so painful and hard to get rid of. They seem to stay longer also and leave big scars. How can I treat/prevent these?
I’ve been on yaz for a few days now and haven’t had that many side effects. Just extremely tired so I figure I’ll just take it at bedtime. But what I’m worried about is losing weight. I don’t want to lose any weight while on this. I’m only 98 lbs as is and I can’t afford to lose any more.
I have been taking Doxycycline for a few days now and I developed a rash on my leg. Has this happened to anyone else?

I am seeing the dermatologist in a few days, but was just curious if anyone here stopped taking accutane for about a month and was able to start it again.
i started taking the birth control pill yaz today and am so far not having any side effects like nausea…thank god lol. my question is, how long does it take for the pill to become effective in preventing pregnancy? i always thought it was one month, but the info packet that came with the pills said to use a back up method for a week. and even though its my first day taking the pills, can i still have side effects like nausea and breast tenderness in the next few days?
I was always curious as to what others think is the sound a zit makes when you pop it.
For me, it depends on the zit. For instance, a zit that leaves just a little wet trail on your finger makes the sound "plirk," while a zit that leaves just a little white dot makes the sound "ploik." A big zit in the middle of your face that explodes all over your mirror makes the sound "Kung POW!" An older zit, say like one you discover on your shoulder after a few days, has a lot of pus with the consistency of toothpaste, so that zit makes the sound "papule-lapule-lapule-lapule-lapule" as you squeeze it like a tube of toothpaste.
So, my question to the rest of the population is: What sound DOES a zit make when you pop it?
