I have strep throat, and I’m allergic to penicillin. I have Erythromycin but every time I take it I throw up, I can’t seem to keep it down. I tried eating a banana before taking it to see if that might help but I ended up still vomiting. Is there anything I can do to help with the nausea? I am prescribed Erythromycin Benzoyl Peroxide Topical Gel to use every night and morning. How long do I leave it on for? In the night I leave it on all night and wash it in the morning but in the day after I leave it on for like an hour it starts to peel and its embarassing so should I was it after like 20 mins or what?

Instructions are to keep refrigerated except when using. I forgot to put it back into to the fridge last night. Can’t find anything on the web about it… (this is different than plain erythromycin, which is fine at room temp.)
