I did some research on the computer, and what I’ve found said yes, the effectiveness of the bcp can be lowered. Then, I asked my doctor, and she said no it will not. I’m kind of confused, haha. Can someone clear this up for me, please?
I’m using doxycycline for one week to treat chlamydia, by the way.

I have been taking the antibiotic doxycycline for about 3 weeks now i have 1 more day to go.. twice after i have taken the medicine i threw up from it both times in the morning cause i take it twice a day. I have felt like thsi vomitting feeling all day too after i vomitted this morning please help!

I have extreme anxiety and very bad allergies and asthma. So The symptoms are not that hard for me to get. I have been taking the doxycycline for 4 days now and I get chest tightness at times, itching of eyes, fingers, legs, head.. I guess what I am saying is is this mostly in my head… wouldnt I have went into shock by now If I have been getting these symptoms for the past few days instead of it coming and going?

I am taking the following medication for a infection but can i still drink alcohol with these as i am….?

I was given a prescription of doxycycline hyclate yesterday for acne, and I’m a little uncertain of what I should eat and when I should do it. My doctor said something about eating yogurt, but the pill bottle sort of seems to say I shouldn’t. Has anyone taken doxycycline for acne, and if so, did it work, and when did you find was the best time of day to take it?

Recently I was at the Doctor to get a perscription for the Pill, however I forgot to tell her that I am currently on Doxycycline (and have been for about two months or so for skin control, not infection control or to maleria prevention).
I was wondering if it is ok to take the two medicines at the same time, or how long in between taking the tablets I should leave each day?

I’ve been diagnosed with bacterial vaginosis and cervicitis. Clinician prescribed me with metronidazole and doxycycline at the same time. Can i take metronidazole with doxycycline together?

Can i drink alchol whilst taking Doxycycline capsules? If not how long would I have to wait if I stopped taking them untill I could start drinking again? (i only take the medication for minor acne, dont actually need it to stay fit and helathy)

I am on the pill and have been taking doxycycline i finished taking them over a week ago but have started to have irregular bleeding just like a period does anyone no if this is caused by the tablets. Only had irregular bleeding once before but onced i changed the pill i was on i was fine.

i have been taking Doxycycline for 5 days now for my acne, and now it feels like there is something in the back of my throat could it be the Doxycycline or is it a coincidence? if so is it dangerous if i keep taking it?
