I have doxycycline left over from a trip to africa. it is used for malaria prevention. i now have a sinus infection that wont go away. i looked up doxycycline on line and saw that it is used for certain infections but sinus was not listed. the articles say that it may be used for other purposes not listed. will it kill a sinus infection?

I’m on my second month taking doxycycline and it seems to work very well. I just wonder what will happen after I get off the drug next month? My doctor told me to take it 3 months. I’m scare of my acne returning because I look like a monster sad, it’s but true =(. I want to take this drug for the next 4 years until I no longer have acne. Can I do that?

I have mild to moderate acne and I was just wondering how long you can be on doxycycline for? I took it for 2 months before and i ran out cuz that was the length of the prescription. However, I am thinking of being on it again cuz it seemed to do the trick but i need to know what the length of time is

I’ve been on doxycycline for a couple of weeks (50mg a day) and now thats its getting warmer, I’d like to get somewhat tan. But a lot of people say being on this will give some sort of rash. I thought it’d be ok if since I’m on the lowest dosage possible.. any suggestions?

I had to go to another doctor today because I missed my appointment for my derm last week I just ran out of doxycycline for my acne and the doctor gave me a refill. But on the label it says Doxycycline tab for vibratabs and the doxycycline i used to have is called doxycycline tab on the label. I looked vibratabs online and it was doxycycline. Should I be worried or is it just the same thing or just another name for doxycycline?
