I have lost my health insurance and I do not want to take another form of birth control… But a month is too much, I heard Walmart sells Yaz for a month. Is that true? That said, in there any where online I can get Yaz at a discount?
My boyfriend and I had unprotected sex about a week and a half ago. I am the Yaz birth control pills and when we did this i was going to be taking my second inactive pill that night. When we had sex, he pulled out. I was just wondering if my continued use of this pill can lead to an eventual miscarriage?
i take yazmin which is in a purple package but i see the tv ad for Yaz birth control all the time and it says how it helps pmdd cause it has the hormone drsp in it but when i check the internet they both have that hormone so what makes them different?
I was wondering who I would need to go see to get a prescription for Yaz birth control?
Thanks for thew responses but please, keep in mind, everyone reacts differently to medication. So, when replying please keep an objective point of view and simply answer the question of WHERE to get the prescription
Thanks
As for the whole "ask your parents" issue, I’m beyond the age needed to ask for parental permission so that’s not an issue
I just recently switched to the birth control YAZ but haven’t started taking it yet. I’ve seen tons of bulletins online where people have had nothing but negative things to say about YAZ. I would like to hear from someone who is on YAZ or knows someone else who is on it and likes it. Thanks!
I know antibiotics lower its effectiveness, but I recently heard that b-12 will, as well as St. John’s Wart, this got me wondering as I take various vitamins at different times, so do you know of any that are bad for the effectiveness of birth control pills, or where I could find that info? I looked on the Yaz website and couldn’t find much outside of how great it is for ya! Thanks!
P.S.-I’m married and just wanna put of kids for a few years, please don’t go off into a abstinence discussion! Thanks!
Oh, guess I should have specified that I’m already on it and have been for 5 months now, those symptoms are terrible, but I didn’t have any of that, my breasts were a little sore for the first 2 months, not bad tho, and I had a bigger tendency to get headaches for the 1st couple months as well, but nothing major and now I feel as if I’m back to normal, no major symptoms at all!
I might start Yaz, the birth control pill, and I just wanted to know if there’s anything I should be expecting when I start them. How well does it regulate periods? I need help. I’m just starting it to have less heavy periods, but I want to know what else will happen.
I just started YAZ and I have noticed a lack of desire to have sex. This is fairly abnormal for me. Any Experiences?
I understand that birth control is not 100% however, I head that it is more likely to get pregnant on YAZ than other bc pills.
I have been on birth control for over 7 years consistently, and have been on Yaz for 8 months. I was diagnosed with a UTI and put on antibiotics, specifically sulfamethoxazole, for a week. I had my monthly during that week, and started a new pack the 2nd to last day of my antibiotics. So I had taken the first 2 BC pills of my new pack and on those 2 days I also took my last two days of antibiotics. I was sexually active on the 3rd day of my pack, but used backup for that day and the next two days. My question is if whether or not I have to continue a backup to use with Yaz if I had barely started my new pack as I was ending my antibiotics. Am I protected as fully against pregnancy with just my pill, or has my antibiotic in those first two days of my pack effected the entire month of my protection and so I need to use back up for a month? Thanks!
I have been on Yaz for 2 1/2 weeks now and have not liked it whatsoever. It changed around the hormones in my body and got rid of my sex drive completely. I really would like it out as soon as possible. Does anyone know how long it takes birth control to be completely out of your system?
