Do I need backup birth control during the first month after switching from LoEstrin 1/20 FE to Yaz?
I’ve always heard people say how much they love Yasmin and until recently I thought it was just a cheaper or generic brand of YAZ. I’m going to see my gynecologist to get put of birth control tomorrow which would you recommend and what are the differences between them?
I’m not interested in any other form of birth control. I’m just trying to figure out what pill is best.
I have been on birth control for over 7 years consistently, and have been on Yaz for 8 months. I was diagnosed with a UTI and put on antibiotics, specifically sulfamethoxazole, for a week. I had my monthly during that week, and started a new pack the 2nd to last day of my antibiotics. So I had taken the first 2 BC pills of my new pack and my last 2 days of antibiotics on the same days. I was sexually active on the 3rd day of my pack, but used backup for that day and the next two days. My question is if whether or not I have to continue a backup to use with Yaz and for how long. Even if I had barely started my new pack as I was ending my antibiotics. Am I protected as fully against pregnancy with just my pill, or has my antibiotic in those first two days of my pack effected the entire month of my protection and so I need to use back up for a month? Thanks!
I have been on the birth control pill Yaz for a little over a year. My fiance’ and I would like to have another baby. How long will it take for the pill to leave my system so I can get pregnant?
I was taking the mini pill. There was a space of about a month that I did not use birth control. I took 3 pregnancy tests before starting Yaz. I am about to start my second packet tomorrow. Should I contact my doctor?
I’ve been researching birth control before I pick one for me. And the shot, IUD, and the patch aren’t what I want. They all seem too risky. So I was looking into Oral contraceptives and found Yaz, Does anyone know how much it is? Without insurance that is.
I want to switch my birth control pill and i have medicad, i want to switch to the yaz pill, will medicad cover it?
I took Yaz for a few years and I stopped taking it in March and thats been what about 5 months and I am on my period now my sister said it took her like 9 or 10 months to get pregnant after taking birth control so I was wondering if anyone who took Yaz would know how long it takes after taking yaz and stopping to get pregnant.
I missed a pill in my yaz birth control pack… I want to start alllll over in a week with a new pack of pills and not finish the pack I have now and not have sex for four months like normal. Would this be ok to do to myself or would it screw up my body and not work?
I am interested in taking accutane and I have to take two forms of birth control. I am currently taking a birth control pill called Zovia but I don’t know what my second form of birth control should be, do you have an suggestions? Thanks!!!
