a few minutes ago my mom gave me some benzoyl peroxide (5%) and i was wondering if that’s okay even if i don’t have a prescription. my nose, where i applied it feels kinda funky so is that normal?
neutrogena isn’t doing anything.
proactiv has benzoyl peroxide.
I tried clean & clear it did nothing.
I tried tea tree oil- Nothing
I am currently using St.Ives, it’s not doing anything

Im using epiduo as my acne treatment and it was recommended by my doctor, but every time i use a acne treatment with benzoyl peroxide in it, it drys my skin out and it seem as if ill never be able 2 get rid of my acne because i cant use one of the main ingredients to get rid of acne PLEASE HELP!

I have very mild acne and just wanted to clear it completely. I started to use Benzoyl Peroxide and follow the Acne.org routine but i am breaking out on face in places i never have before and have breakouts of angry white heads nearly every day now. My skin is far worse than it was before. I have sensitive skin and have been using BP for three months now. Any advice?
i was prescribed 5% benzoyl peroxide cream & clindamycin to put on at night. i put it on small pimples but when i wake up in the morning, they are larger but not irritated or anything. eventually i use an exfoliator to get rid of them because they look so bad. is my skin sensitive or is this how the medicine works ?
someone told me hydrogen peroxide is better at healing acne and acne scars than benzoyl peroxide, is that true? or is there some thing even better, because i have mild acne with some really bad scars, help!
