I have tried nearly everything: Proactiv, antibiotics, shots to the face, over the counter creams, and just about everything. My acne goes away and then comes back. Not only that but it leaves scars behind as well as brown dots where the zits were. Can anyone suggest anything for acne, the scars, and the brown marks?

Im suffering from a dental infection and was put on amoxycillin and metrodinazole, my dentist has sent me some more antibiotics because i was going to run out before the infection had fully cleared. He has sent erythromycin instead of amoxycillin, but I’m a bit confused. Is this to be taken instead of the amoxycillin or aswell as? thanks

I’ve been using Loestrin birth control for a little while (two days into the second pack) and haven’t had unprotected sex yet. I heard that antibiotics can increase chances of pregnancy when taken along with it, I’m currently using Doxycycline for acne and have been over two years. Will this be a problem, and do I need to use back up with Loestrin? Thanks.

I had to provide stool samples in five different containers, but I was doxcycline for three days I was told I could go at anytime and provide those so I just went the next morning and did it…Will being on antibiotics affect those test?

The leaflet provided with the tablets says not to drink alcohol with them.

I’ve seen conflicting advice online though, mainly relating to antibiotics not working as well with alcohol in your system but i’m using them for Acne on a mild dose for a prolonged period so one days ineffectiveness is not necessarily a real problem.

Is this about right? Can I drink alcohol when i’m taking these antibiotics?

Side effects of the antibiotics are teeth turning yellow and grey. Online it says this is permanent but in your experience does it go away? Would whitening strips bleach them back to white??
