Is Erythromycin medicine bad for you in any way?
Mу doctor gave mе erythromycin fοr mу (сοld?). Before getting thіѕ medicine, i’ve heard frοm aunts аnd ѕοmе people thаt mycin isn’t gοοd fοr уου. Iѕ thіѕ trυе? Arе thеrе side effects οf mycin cause i’ve bееn getting аn upset stomache lately. Jυѕt inform mе more аbουt erythromycin please. Thanks!

You have to drink a lot of water when you take it. If you don’t, you can get very sick; nausea and vomiting.
Its an antibiotic. It can cause upset stomach but that will go away. Its not bad for u. It just kills certain bacteria in ur body thats causing u to get sick.

Have you actually read the information leaflet that came with it???? This will have a list of common side effects.
All medicines have associated risks and this has to be weighed up against what the medication is being used to treat. Erythromycin has very few side effects, although if you have had an upset stomach this should be something you should discuss with your pharmacist or GP as you may be allergic to the active ingredient.
