hοw long dοеѕ іt take tο see results. dοеѕ іt mаkе ur face worse before getting better οr dοеѕ јυѕt kіll existing bacteria? i υѕе thіѕ іn thе evening аnd υѕе tretinoin 0.05% іn thе morning wіth sunscreen.

Right now I am using benzemycin and it has erythromycin and benzate in it, my face is getting sligtly better I have been using it for one week now. It is making my face super dry though so I am using lotion to keep it less dry.
I……Dont know!
It’s an antibacterial medication that prevents the P-acne bacteria from forming on the skin. It may take several weeks to work and like Retin-A can cause dryness and irritation, so make sure to use with a moisturizer with sunscreen. I personally like Retin-A micro 0.4%.
erythromycin is an antibiotic…it will only kill existing infection. But usually not bacteria. If you are trying to prevent acne from happening…this topical will not work!
This kills the bacteria on your face… Here are my suggestions: I used Tetracylin for years… Proactive … Retina A without good results… MY FACE is now clear.. and i am very happy.. as well as many others with great results…: GO to pharm, Drug store or Walmart.. get "PURPOSE" bar of soap – blue box made by Johnson & Johnson… the bar only not the gel/luqid…. wash your face with this 2-3′xs per day.. get a LOW strength Benzoyl-peroxide cream… apply by dabbing only to the pimples themselves.. works using oxidation/reduction reaction so dont rub it in… also only use on the blemishes themselves if put else where on face or overused will cause excess drying and make your face look worse… also if needed for moisture which you prob. will ASK FOR "NUTRADERM lotion" THE ORGINAL.. not the new stuff works great and doesnt leave a residue on your skin, or clog pores… TIPS: acne.. pimples blemishes normally caused by bacteria or Hormone issues… DONT PICK, POP, POKE… (your hands are the dirtiest areas of your body .. will spread germs.. cause more outbreaks and scarring…)… DONT USE PROACTIVE… DONT EVER EVER USE that APricot crap… DONT LISTEN TO PEOPLE Online who tell you to scrub or put acids on your sensative skin such as lemon or vinagar…THIS HAS WORKED WELL and FAST for me and many many other happy people… no longer use long term antibiotics… etc.. expensive treatments.. or facials.. dont need makeup … and happy… look great.. feel good.. good skin…

Erythromycin is an antibiotic that kills bacteria on the surface of the skin and in the pores. When the pores are clogged with excess oil and skin cells, bacteria feed on them and acne results.
Tretinoin (Retin-A) works in a completely different way, by speeding up skin cell turnover in the pores. (It also enhances collagen production, which is why it’s used as an anti-aging ingredient against sun damage and wrinkles.) If the skin cells and oil keep getting pushed out, instead of building up, there is less opportunity for bacteria to multiply and create acne. Retin-A does generally make your face look worse before it gets better. It’s an irritant and your face will take some time to get used to it — may feel red, dry and flaky at first. Plus, all the "stuff" that is in your pores, that might take some time to work its way to the surface one by one, is brought out by Retin-A. You may see more acne for a brief period as it’s all cleared out — and then you should look much better.
It’s a good idea to use a gentle exfoliant along with these treatments, if approved by your dermatologist, such as glycolic acid. It’s important to keep removing the outer surface layer of skin cells so that medication can keep getting to your pores and they don’t clog up. If Retin-A helps skin cells turn over, but they just stay on your face (flaky, dry skin), you won’t see the best results.
It is an antibiotic that kills the bacteria in the pimple that causes acne. Works best in acne with pus.
I realized that you are using the products the wrong way. The antibiotic topical gel should be used in the morning instead of the night and tretinoin should be used at night.
This is because tretinoin is very sensitive to UV light and can cause sunburn even with sunscreen sometimes. And as tretinoin increases cell turnover, it would be better to use it at night because that is the time when your skin repairs itself best.
