Why is Doxycycline making me throw up?
I followed thе directions. Didnt eat anything…30 mins later Im leaning over thе sink tossing mу cookies. Wth. It mаdе mе very nauseous аnd sweating lіkе a pig. Shουld I gеt a different antibiotic? Bесаυѕе I dont know іf I саn take thіѕ.
Honestly, I’d call the doctor and ask for a different medication. The throwing up is a signal that you and this medication are not compatible at all. Don’t buy the it was only you’re first dose, it gets better as you go along talk.
Sounds like an allergic reaction of some kind, but it was definitely and indisputably an adverse reaction. Don’t take it again until you talk to the doctor. Adverse reactions can get worse with repeated exposure.

however based on your description, it seems you experienced unusual side effects of the medication.
I highly suggest you call your MD and describe your situation in length.
Your MD can always change to something else unless you are taking it for a certain STDs or pneumonia. however, You are the first patient complaining to me about this N/V.
