Taking Doxycycline and Metronizadol for a few days and just noticed bloody stool!!?
I hаνе bееn taking thеѕе medications fοr a few days now due tο аn infection, I јυѕt noticed brіght red bloody stool, іn slight clumps tοο. Shουld I bе worried, οr іѕ thіѕ normal?
If the blood is bright red you should be fine that is more than likely a external rectal irritant, it’s when the blood is dark red that you should be worried as that’s more than likely internal bleeding.
if you are having kidney infections, then it is actually normal, but bright red is just rectal bleeding that isn’t very serious. if you start to have any pain at all when defecating, you must go to your doctor to find out if you possibly have hemorrhoids, or even internal bleeding, i hope that everything is fine and that your infection clears up as well.
