On Doxycycline can I take period pain relief?
I’m taking a course οf anti-biotics called Doxycycline bυt hаνе excruciating period pain. Iѕ іt safe tο take a paracetamol/coedine pain releif pill lіkе feminax?

Yes it’s fine to take pain killers with Doxy but try taking just plain Paracetamol on it’s own without codeine. Codeine is actually quite addictive and it can cause constipation. Unless contradicted, it’s actually better to take Ibuprofen for period pain, it’s also fine to take with Doxy.
im pretty sure thats fine, just take normal paracetamol. also, look on the leaflet with the antibiotics, it should tell you contraidictions.
Yes it is safe – there is no drug interaction between the two. Make sure to take the codeine with food since it has a tendency to cause stomach upset
