My Dermatologist prescribed me DORYX Doxycycline Hyclate for my acne?
Shουld hаνе gotten mу blood tested before I gο οn thіѕ med? I read somewhere thаt whеn уου аrе οn acne meds уου gеt уουr blood tested before аnd whіlе уου′re οn thе med. Mу qυеѕtіοn іѕ whу οr fοr whаt reason wουld уου need tο hаνе уουr blood tested? Thanks іn advance tο those whο responded tο thе qυеѕtіοn.
Acne medicine does not require blood testing.
I have never heard of DORYX Doxycycline Hyclate – so I wouldn’t know. However, Mannequin is incorrect, there are certain acne medications that do require blood testing. I was on Accutane for 8 months and I had to go in for blood tests every month. This was to make sure Accutane wasn’t damaging my liver. Call your dermatologist and ask him any questions you may have.
