Marijuana and Doxycycline and trying to concieve?
Mу husband smokes weed еνеrу weekend… lіkе a bowl аnd thаt’s іt. Cουld іt bе affecting hіѕ fertility?
Mу husband аlѕο takes doxycycline fοr a re-occuring infection. Hе′s bееn οn іt fοr аbουt 3 months now bυt wаѕ οn іt before. Wе hаνе bееn TTC fοr over a year. Dο antibiotics affect fertility??

I know TO many people that have smoked weed and got pregnant so I would say it just depends on the person.
I’m sure many people do get preggers while smoking pot, but if you are REALLY serious about getting pregnant, why take the chance that it may or may not prevent it??

Mostly everybody i no smokes weed and they have children. My best friend and her boyfriend smokes weed everyday until she got pregnant. She is going on four months. And my doctor said that antibiotics can make you fertile but i no it can weaken your birth control.

yes…your husband smoking weed can affect his fertility. it affects his sperm. as for the antibiotic it shouldn’t hurt conceiving in any way…but make sure you don’t take it while pregnant or ttc. it affects bone formation in your developing baby. i know that wasn’t your question…but just heads up. have him stop smoking for a week or two before you ovulate and then he can resume after you ovulate if he cant stop. however, it is really best for him to not smoke anything at all if you are ttc. it affects you, him and the baby.
cannabis can mutate sperm, as well as making them ‘lazy’.
Are you sure his heart is really into having a child? He hardly sounds ideal father material.

Weed absolutely does affect his fertility! It’s like he’s killing off more and more of his sperm everytime he smokes it! What about if you do get pregnant… is he going to smoke it around the baby? If he’s in the same house then it’s around the baby! Sounds like you’ve got a loser for a husband and don’t need a baby, but it’s usually people like you and your husband that do end up with a house full and can’t afford them, but ones who take care of themselves and really deserve them can’t.
