Is it safe to empty the powder out of Doxycycline and eat it with applesauce?
Doxycycline іѕ a hυgе pill thаt I need tο swallow іn order tο gеt rid οf acne. I саnnοt swallow thеѕе pills fοr thіѕ reason, аnd I wаѕ wondering іf eating thе powder inside thе pill wіth applesauce іѕ okay.
omggg.. i just started using this stuff yesterdayyy. i have the exact same problem and my whole family thinks im like retarded for not being able to do it? but yaaa as of yesterday i just kept it in my mouth for a couple seconds so it was eassy to split open and put water in my mouth completely and dropped a little of the stuff in at a timeee. cuz it tastes nasty. but yaaaa on the instructions it sayss you can do thaaat too!
It’s safe unless it’s the extended release form. If it is the extended release form then doing so will cause all of the medicine to get in your system at once and that can be harmful. If in doubt ask your pharmacist.
Yes you can do that.. You can also mix it with things like peanut butter or put it into an all natural juice.. The pill capsule is just a vehicle to get the powder into you you tummy lol..
