I was prescribed doxycycline for chlamydia can i take it faster than prescribed?
Directions say two pills twice a day for seven days. If I take four pills twice a day instead will I see faster results?
It won’t work faster by doing it that way.
ALWAYS take your medications EXACTLY as prescribed, and finish the whole course of antibiotics. Doubling doses of some medications can be dangerous.
actually… yes you can.. but you would have to take every single pill all at once.
i went to the ER once a couple days after i had unprotected sex.. i had symptoms of an STD.. so they gave me a handful of pills and a shot in my butt.. they said that was treatment for gonorrhea and chlamydia… and if i had either of those, it would clear it up..
anyway, it didn’t work because i didn’t have that STD.. i had trich.. so they gave me flagyl and that cleared it up
