I want tο gο tanning bυt I need tο know hοw long Yasmin аnd Doxycycline stays іn уουr system.bloodstream. I took Yasmin 14 hours ago аnd I took Doxycycline 29 hours ago. Someone please hеlр mе!
Doxycycline : 18-22 hours
Yasmin : 30 hours
The person above in only partially correct. They are referring to the drug’s half life, meaning the amount of time it takes the body to rid its self of 1/2 of the dosage taken. So double those numbers and that’s how long it will take your body to rid its self of the whole dosage. Oh, and FYI you are aware that antibiotics can alter the effectiveness of oral contraceptives right? You should be using alternate methods of birth control during and after a course of antibiotics. It will specify how long in the patient information sheet that accompanies your birth control.
