Help with taking doxycycline for Lyme disease?

Doxy makes lots of people nauseated. Some people find it helps to take it with food (even though you are initially told to take it on an empty stomach, if you tell the pharmacist it makes you nauseated, then he or she will usually say, "well, then take it with food.")
If you still can’t tolerate it, there is a buffered form of doxy called Doryx. Many people who can’t tolerate doxy find they CAN tolerate doryx. Ask your doctor about this and other drugs that can be used for Lyme.
