Does Doxycycline stop the menstrual cycle?
I’ve bееn taking thе prescription fοr аbουt 3 weeks аnd wаѕ meant tο come οn 2 weeks ago. I’m usually early οr late give οr take a few days.
Thеrе′s nο chance thаt I’m pregnant. At аll lol. Maybe I’m јυѕt unusually late. Whісh sucks bесаυѕе mу cycle missed аll mу plans fοr thе summer, bυt іf іt comes soon іt wіll coincide wіth thеm.
No. There should be no chance at all that the Doxycycline was to blame for your menstrual cycle stopping. However, as the other commenters mentioned, it could be stress related, or even something more serious. You should definitely talk to your doctor! Good luck & hope everything is alright!

No, it doesn’t stop the menstrual cycle. It shouldn’t even really cause any irregular periods.
Irregular periods can be caused by stress, etc. It’s nothing to worry about unless you had sex prior to your late period. :O
I started taking doxycycline 2 weeks after my last period at the end of February and I haven’t had my period since. I still have about 2 weeks of the med so I was wondering about the same thing.
