Does doxycycline help to clear your acne? and if so about how long until you see results?
i’ve hаd acne fοr аbουt 3 years. іt’s nοt tοο severe, bυt іt’s bаd enough thаt i’m willing tο try anything tο clear іt up. mу dermatologist рυt mе οn doxycycline аnd i wаѕ јυѕt wondering іf anyone whο hаѕ used іt before саn tеll mе іf іt really dοеѕ hеlр tο clear up acne аnd hοw long іt wаѕ before thеу saw results?
I never had zits until I was an adult, like 20 years old and I started getting deep pimples that formed under my skin’s surface whenever I was PMSing. I took that doxycycline for about 3 months. I was pretty bad at remembering to take it and taking it on schedule ( I was supposed to take it twice a day for 3 months, but I ended up skipping days and even weeks for 3.5 months & I never finished the full prescription.) It’s supposed to treat deep boils that form under the skin, and it helped me a lot! I don’t know if it would work for smaller surface pimples, and I don’t know if I’d say I’m completely cured, but I don’t get them very often or very big anymore, so I’d say it’s definitely worth it! Other acne medications only work for dirt or oil related pimples, but when they form under the skin, doxycycline kills the bacteria that causes them. I no longer worry about what my skin looks like because it looks so much better than it did before, so I’d say it’s definitely worth it. It probably took 2-4 weeks to start to show that it was working for me.

YES! I used to use this, it takes about 2 weeks to see any results.. I know seems like a long time but it is worth it! REMEMBER eat when you take it, take it with milk, and watch your exposure to the sun! YOU will get cooked if you dont use sunscrean. EVEN if it is cloudy! Best of luck!
