Does anyone know if there is an alternative medication for doxycycline hyclate?
I took іt fοr thе first time аnd I gοt very nauseous аnd еndеd up getting sick. Alѕο hаd blood іn mу vomit аѕ well аѕ ѕοmе οthеr side affects. Alѕο іѕ thеrе anyone out thеrе thаt thіѕ hаѕ happened tο, thеn tried tο take іt wіth food thе next time аnd hаd nο side effects?Thаt’s whаt mу pharmacist tοld mе tο dο…bυt I’m worried thаt іt wіll јυѕt happen again…аlѕο іt саn’t bе gοοd fοr mе іf іt’s doing thіѕ tο mу body.
doxycycline hyclate is a prescription medication, if u need an alternative antibiotic u need to consult your doctor, taking it with food is a good idea, if it doesnt help, then a doctor need to replace it. some people are allergic to it ,maybe thats why u are reacting that way, are u taking another antiobic, if u are asking for a natural substitute for this, there are many, garlic is a natural antibiotic, virgin coconut oil is another, oregano oil is another natural antibiotic
There is no substitute for an antibiotic – you need to speak to the doctor about getting another one – you don’t know why you are bleeding – you could have had something very serious happen; ruptured the esophagus, ulcerated the stomach, etc.
No one here knows what he is taking an antibiotic for – you could be suggesting garlic for chronic syphilis…..
Doxycycline causes nausea; that’s just what it does. Hey- nobody ever said life was going to be without trade-offs. Sometimes, long-term benefits come only with short-term discomfort; welcome to adulthood!
As for *real* alternatives (i.e., NOT worthless ditchleaves or soup sprinkles), you’ve got minocycline and tetracycline.
