Can i drink alchol whilst taking Doxycycline capsules?
Cаn i drink alchol whilst taking Doxycycline capsules? If nοt hοw long wουld I hаνе tο wait іf I ѕtοрреd taking thеm untill I сουld ѕtаrt drinking again? (i οnlу take thе medication fοr minor acne, dont actually need іt tο stay fit аnd helathy)

I had Doxycycline for acne for years. Doesn’t acne suck. You can still drink (or at least I had no significant problems). I didn’t control my alcohol consumption either (like you would for painkillers or anti-anxiety medications. At the same time, I wouldn’t go out drinking more than three nights a week (a general good rule of thumb).
You’re definitely safe to do it the first time. See how your body feels the next morning. Are you specifically more hung over? Do you have stomach problems (ie diarrhea)? Antibiotics can upset your stomach and so can alcohol, so the problems may combine.
Enjoy yourself! Here’s a sidenote and I just want to say I’m not trying to parent. I’m a college junior who had similar problems. Be confident and don’t let your acne mess with your self-esteem. Just do you best to take the meds you’ve been given and wash your face regularly. If you’re a girl, be careful about makeup clumping on your acne.
