Heya, I was wondering how much benzoyl peroxide (or other substance) percentage I should look for in an acne cleanser.

I’ve been using AcneFree for about 2 months now, no results really. I’m beginning to think its doing too much for my skin to handle, and I’m tempted to just stick to a daily cleanser.

Any ideas?
Also, I don’t want my face to be dry/flaky when I use it.

I recently started using Brevoxyl (8% benzoyl peroxide wash) and BenzaClin (5% benzoyl peroxide and 1% clindamycin) for my acne. I was wondering is my skin too sensitive to use a depilatory like Nair made especially for the face?

My boyfriend lives in Norway and discovered while he was in the U.S. visiting me that benzoyl peroxide products completely get rid of his acne. Since then I have been sending them to him from here (expensive.) Is there a product like clearasil or clean and clear sold in Norway that has similar ingredients to the products sold in the U.S. for acne?

I’m planning to stop Benzoyl Peroxide since it’s ruining my skin… will my skin go back to normal if I stop using it (I only used it for four days and it made it very dry; kinda stretchy looking and red but the redness almost dispersed.)?

My dermatologist recently prescribe me to this product called Benzoyl Peroxide 5% wash, only problem is i dont know how to use it. Steps by step instruction would be greatly appreciated. Also what kind of moisturizer should i use in the morning before i go to school since this peroxide really dry out my skin. Thank You

I have tried a 5% benzoyl peroxide and didn’t see any results. I want to try one with 10% benzoyl peroxide but I am wondering which one is the least drying but still effective. My main acne problem is blackheads and I head benzoyl peroxide is very helpful at getting rid of them. Does anyone know an effective, inexpensive face wash with 10% benzoyl peroxide? Thanks!

Why Is my face RED AND ITCHY when I use Benzoyl Peroxide? I put it on about 9:30 then slept at 10 and then woke up at 5:30 am and my face was red,itchy, and hurted. It was 2.5% benzoyl peroxide and almost burned my face for an example! What should I do to remove the swelling or anything like that? I used Salicylic Acid but it was a little expensive so I switched to BP then this happend. Any tips? Thanks

so whenever i aplly it on my forehead–i get LOTS OF tiny bumps on my forehead,but the big pimple reduces…..
so why do i get these ugly azz tiny bumps?
and when i stop using it and apply adapalene gel,they go away in a week…..
so should i stop using benzoyl peroxide?

Any Risk that if I use it.
The Benzoyl Peroxide Wash 10% already expire for 6 months already Can I still use it.
