u have sensitive skin
You have allergic reactions to it . . .
It is too strong for your skin type! Stop using it!
well peroxide is much stonger than salicylic acid so therefor it just dries the hell out of some ppl but from now on just ue dove soap on your face and if u want to see if that works just read the thousands of ppl on google who say so
My daughter and I have problems with Benzoyl Peroxide also. If you have sensitive skin at all, Benzoyl Peroxide can be irritating. I would go back to the Salicylic Acid, that works best for us with no irritation.
If you have sensative skin. Try Aveno Clear complexion bar. It keeps my skin really calm and clear. Follow up with an alcohol free toner and try an oil free lotion. If it doesn’t help up the lotion to a mild acne free lotion. If it burns going on, it’s not going to give you that clear skin you are looking for. plus give it time. It’s much more gentle, so it’s going to take a little longer to help clear things up.
Yea, BP does that – you can buffer those effects with real lavender oil OR try Phisoderm, it has salicylic acid and cheaper than Dr. Murad but you also don’t get all the herbals that he puts together in his products
You can immediately try some honey – it can be antiinflammatory – but not processed kind – real organic good stuff
Wow, salicytic acid does that to me, but I guess you’re more sensitive to benzoyl per. I suggest using a moisturizer after you put on BP — wait till it dries in a few minutes, and just put on a layer of moisturizer (preferable an oil free one)
Also, how are you using it? You shouldn’t have it as a mask, unless it specifically says you can, and then for only 5 minutes. If you’re doing a spot treatment, then don’t put a heavy layer on the spots, and try to keep it on for about half an hour to an hour.
