I just got Benzoyl peroxide treatment for acne. How long should the 'better before worse' acne last for?
I wеnt tο thе docters fοr treatment fοr acne οn mу face. hе prescribed Pan Oxyl Benzoyl Peroxide, bυt mу acne seems tο bе getting worse before better. Dοеѕ аnу one know hοw long thіѕ "better before worse" phase wіll/ѕhουld last fοr?
youre skin is getting used to this new treatment therfore making it worse for a while… its hard to tell when this phase will pass because we all have different skin types and we all react to things differently.. but hopfully it will wear off soon..

Well, it could be a coincidence as it takes a week or two for the cream to work (it took my benzoyl peroxide cream about 2 weeks to start working), and it’s just that time of the month where your pores decide to become clogged up and produce more acne! That could be an explanation for why you think the treatment is making it worse!
If the acne continues to get worse, and the cream doesn’t appear to have begun working after say, a fortnight, go to the Doctor’s again.
