I use Brevoxyl (which is Benzoyl peroxide), and it took about 3 weeks to work fully and now I have like no spots (: So if you keep using it, it will get rid of them eventually.
So just use moisturiser and you’ll be fine.
Yeah I found that mine made my skin dry at first so I used No7 Advanced hydration day cream to help and now I don’t have dry skin
Hope this helps xx
It will last 1 week after your medication to get back to normal. But hey it might work and who cares if it dries your skin. Just be patient. I am also using this prescription thing too and I can use moisturizer. So you aren’t the only one.
One thing that will help is wash your face, and then put moisturizer on, and then put the Epiduo on top of the facial moisturizer. Try getting a really good, gentle moisturizer like Cetaphil. You don’t want to put anything to harsh on your face, because it it sensitive from the Epiduo. Make sure your facial wash is gentle, as well. If you want to get rid of the dry, flaky skin on your face try using this recipe-
Plain Oatmeal & a little milk.
It is very gentle on your face, but it soothes it and gets rid of the dry skin. I use an acne medicine that can really dry out my skin, and on top of that I have extremely, very sensitive skin so I my skin gets really dry, flaky, and irritated. I do all of the above steps that I listed and that helped get rid of my dry skin in as little as 2 days.
To break it down, these are the basic steps-
1. Gently Clean your Skin
2. Gently Exfoliate your skin
3. MOISTURIZE
4. Don’t use too much Epiduo, just use it on the area where your acne is.
I’ve been in that situation and there is really nothing you can do about it. There are things you can do to try to reduce the blemishes and get rid of acne/pimples temporarily but you will always be finding yourself cleaning your face or your body depending on where it’s at.
I mean of course your acne should go away eventually but for some this is the case their whole life.
I’m 29 years old and have been suffering from these little pests since I was a teenager. I tried all sorts of face washes from the local grocery store and what not, but nothing seemed to work. If anything it would just make my skin dry and itchy.
Literally the best acne face wash I’ve ever used has been this stuff called clearpores. It has got rid of the acne to quickest and has been a success ever since I got it. It’s unique cause of it’s herbal supplement you take a long with it that helps your skin from the inside out. I saved money on it at skincleansingsystem dot com at the time which was helpful.
You should really look into this stuff and if you can to assure the best results, get the 3 month supply because if it doesn’t work it will still save you butt on the return policy.
Well good luck and best wishes.
