How long after using a Benzoyl Peroxide pad do you wash/rinse it off?
Mу dermatologist prescribed Benzoyl Peroxide (4.5%) pads fοr mу moderate acne. Thе box ѕауѕ tο apply іn thе morning bυt tο refer tο thе paper inside thе box fοr further instructions. Somehow I misplaced thаt paper before reading іt. I know thаt уου′re supposed tο wash аnd dry уουr face before using thе pad BUT mу qυеѕtіοn іѕ: Hοw long аftеr using a Benzoyl Peroxide pad dο уου wash/rinse іt οff?
You don’t. You wash your face BEFORE you use the BP. Give your face about 30 minutes, then use the BP pad. You leave it on. If you washed it off, what would be the point of using it? It’s the acne medication. If you want it to treat your acne, you HAVE to leave it on.
You don’t wash it off. You put it on and leave it. It will continue to fight the bacteria that causes your acne throughout the day.
