I think Ive read from an article somewhere saying, skin no matter how long youve applied benzoyl Perox does NOT get immune to it.
my doctor recommends three meds. 5% Benzoyl Peroxide, 1% Tretenoin, and Clindamycin.. I have mild acne, but enough to drive me crazy!
and I think you probably are too so this would be my best advise to you: Go to a dermatologist. Ive been suffering acne for a while and there are some things I regret on doing because all i did was prolong my agony and waste money when I couldve just

I havent used benzoyl peroxide for several years.
But after any new regimen, you should start seeing results in two weeks. I use products with salicylic acid in them..and yes after a while, your skin can become immune to any product.
So it’s important to change your skin care products every three months to a year, simply because seasons change and so do the needs of your skin.
Yep and it works on pimples alone, not so much acne much. It dries out the pore (i.e the surrounding skin as well) but can prove to be effective. I haven’t heard that acne grows immune to it..but it is a peroxide which means it does bleach the skin a bit (hence it reduces redness.
In regards to results, overnight you will notice less redness, but with almost every acne treatment, it will take around 6 weeks for a dramatically reduced result,
It didn’t work for me much, but everyone is different and its worth a try

I don’t really recommend using benzoyl as it messed up my skin and made me mad. The cream that works wonders for me is Retin-a. I got it prescribed by my dermatologist. Visit a doctor so that they can evaluate your skin and see what is best for you.
yes, i use it. it works basically overnight.
