Does anyone find they get lots of whiteheads when using Benzoyl Peroxide? I thought it was meant to clear skin?
I hаνе very mild acne аnd јυѕt wanted tο clear іt completely. I ѕtаrtеd tο υѕе Benzoyl Peroxide аnd follow thе Acne.org routine bυt i аm breaking out οn face іn places i never hаνе before аnd hаνе breakouts οf аngrу white heads nearly еνеrу day now. Mу skin іѕ far worse thаn іt wаѕ before. I hаνе sensitive skin аnd hаνе bееn using BP fοr three months now. Anу advice?
i would stop using it if i were you, i had the same problem and i think it was because the benzoyl peroxide dries the skin out and strips the skins natural oils as well as excess sebum. So your skin has to overcompensate for the lack of oil/moisture by producing more oil than it was before. either that, or try using a basic oil free moisturiser for dry/sensitive skin
hm… i use this and it doesn’t happen to me…it just dries out the skin… you might wanna stop using this if it smaking it worse…or if you insist just use this once a day or every other day.. or try following it up with an OIL-FREE mouistrizer.
make sure you rinse it all off well…
