Could my friend be allergic to salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide?
Shе hаѕ tried everything tο clear up hеr skin; everything. Nothing seems tο work fοr hеr аt аll. All thе salicylic acid doesis mаkе hеr skin red аnd thе benzoyl peroxide mаkеѕ hеr face itch аnd more oily. I thіnk ѕhе′s allergic tο thеѕе products, іѕ іt possible ѕhе сουld bе?
These are very harsh products and a lot of people have problems with the drying aspect of them,sometimes they over do it,your friend could be allergic to them or she could be using too much product,the best solution is to go to a dermatologist,they can put her on some antibiotics that will kill the bacteria on her face.She should be drinking tons of water to flush out all of the toxins from her system and other thing she should do is to keep her hands off of her face as much as possible,the oils of our hands only contributes to the condition of acne.Hope this helps you out.
She could be. It sounds like she is salicylic acid but benzoyl dries your skin out like crazy if you use too much of it. And if you dry your skin out, your oil glands freak out and go into overdrive to replenish the missing oils….hence the oily mess with dry, itchy skin.
